“A Flag for Us All” Rally – Hudson

For this year’s Flag Day, our Hudson, River Falls, and New Richmond Indivisible groups are planning an event titled “Celebrate ‘A Flag For Us All’”.

The tone of our Sunday afternoon program in the park is intended to be community-building and joyous. From about noon to 12:45PM, we’ll have a sign-holding and flag-waving rally along the public sidewalks at Second and Vine Streets in Downtown Hudson, then a short parade down to Lakefront Park, followed by a 1 – 3PM program at the Bandshell of musical performances, poetry readings, and brief remarks by speakers.

Last year, about 1,000 people attended our similar June 14 event over the course of the entire afternoon.
